  Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry is all about improving the visual appeal of your smile. We can fix and straighten teeth, remove gaps, and even change the way you smile. A great smile is important to everyone; and if you have things you'd like to change about yours, mention them to Dr. Mike or your hygienist. We're here to help.

COSMETIC DENTISTRY SERVICES

Bonding is the process of affixing tooth colored resin to damaged areas of a tooth so that it looks whole and healthy again. Bonding is used when fixing tooth decay, cracked teeth, and misshaped teeth. We offer Life-Like repairs and fillings to match the color of your smile. Ask us how we're able to make your repair so perfect that it's impossible to pinpoint!

Porcelain Veneers are thin, tooth-shaped covers that we bond to your existing teeth. The process involves making a simple mold of your teeth here at the office. After an evaluation we customize the visual look of the new veneer covers and bond them into place. Dental patients often choose veneers to cosmetically close spaces between teeth or restore the correct shape of teeth that have signs of grinding and wear.

Crowns are used when a tooth has been broken or eroded so much so that fillings are not possible. We custom create and install your crown right here at the office. Crowns are made to look like the teeth they're replacing or they can be enhanced for a better aesthetic appearance.

Bridges involve a span of several teeth. A bridge is needed when a tooth is missing, unless you opt for implants. The bridge is a false tooth that is bonded to one or two crowns or existing teeth next to the space created by the missing tooth. Bridges are also created here in our office and are made to match your existing bite, mouth structure and tooth color.

LifeLike Fillings is our method of color-matching the resin filling material we use to match your existing teeth. Our color matching is so precise that it's often impossible to see the difference between a filling and your natural tooth.

Metal Filling Removal involves replacing old, unsightly metal fillings with LifeLike resin or Onlays.

Inlays and Onlays are a form of indirect restoration which means they're fabricated from gold or porcelain, like crowns, outside of the mouth. Because they're made from a solid material they're more durable than a direct filling (like a white filling).

Whitening and Stain Removal uses a safe bleaching process to brighten and lighten the color of tooth enamel. We offer at-home and in-office solutions.

  Dental Implants

Dental Implants

Dental Implants are the closest way to replacing your natural tooth that we can achieve. Missing teeth can be restored using dental implants. A threaded metal cone is inserted into the area where your missing tooth's root used to be. After healing, we create a replica tooth that matches your missing tooth and attach it to the implanted cone. It's possible to do dental implants as a same day procedure. Ask us how!

Implants are also ideal for those wearing full or partial dentures. Dentures and partials can be attached securely to several implants so that speaking and chewing feels natural again. And implants often eliminate the need for denture adhesives as well.

If you're considering implants, schedule a quick and easy consult with Dr. Mike where we can evaluate your specific situation.

We're here to help guide you through the process of customizing great full or partial dentures. Like a finger print, every mouth is different so it's important to work together to achieve a smile, fit, and feel, that works for you.

  Emergencies

Dental Emergencies

Bleeding from the mouth, swelling and pain in the gums or mouth area, or getting a tooth knocked out are considered dental emergencies. Although rare, severe infections or abscess in the mouth can be life-threatening. If you have a dental emergency call our office immediately. If it's after hours, you will be able to choose an option during your call that will connect you to our emergency hotline.
